As part of its efforts to promote a regional European strategy on aging, the UN's Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has launched four policy briefs that cover issues such as mainstreaming ageing; gender equality, work and old age; older persons as consumers and integration and participation of older persons. They give policy-makers a quick overview of available strategies in adapting to demographic change and population ageing. Good practice examples from across the UNECE region illustrate the policy recommendations.
