This report examines the phenomenon of elder abuse in Europe--its nature, causes and national responses. The findings are based on surveys conducted in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
