The 15th annual AARP UN Briefing Series “Shameful Contrast: Inequality at the intersection of Age and Gender, “ was held virtually on March 15th. The event was co-sponsored by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), the UN Special Procedures office of the Independent Expert on the Rights of Older Persons, the Permanent Mission of Argentina to the UN and UN Women.
